About
About Alaska Towns
Local guides to small towns: where to stay, where to eat, what to do, and who to call.
What we do
Alaska Towns gives each town its own guide. Every town page brings together the lodges, cafés, guides, outfitters and services in one place, with a map, the seasons they’re open, and how to reach them. The aim is simple: help visitors find the local businesses that make a trip, and help those businesses get found.
For visitors
- Everything on the site is free to use, with no account and no sign-up.
- Business details come from the businesses themselves and are checked before they go live. Hours and seasons change, so call ahead when it matters.
- Spot something wrong? Let us know and we’ll fix it.
For businesses
Every local business can have a free listing. Owners sign in with their email to update their details, see how many people viewed their page, called, or asked for directions, and choose to upgrade if they want to show up first or have a full page of their own.
Who runs it
Alaska Towns is run by Honor Coding LLC dba Alaska Towns. We’re local, and we built the site because small towns deserve a better guide than a search results page. Questions, ideas or corrections are always welcome: get in touch.

We add towns one at a time, with the people who live there. If you’d like to see your town next, tell us about it.
